MORPHING

"Le Morphing est une technique d’animation virtuelle qui consiste en une transformation continue. Il s’agit du passage en douceur d’une image originale à une image finale par transitions graduelles. Dans l’esprit dynamique du montage d’images propre au Morphing, Jean Casanova Castell, Aurélien Cornut-Gentille, Filip Harna, Lola Martins-Coignus, Pierre-Alain Poirier et Emilie Terlinden proposent d’habiter un des territoires du Kanal - Centre Pompidou. Une scène vide, des objets qui se meuvent, des peintures tantôt emballées, tantôt montrées ou encore des ocarinas en forme d’oiseaux sont une partie des éléments d’une partition ouverte que les artistes et performeurs viendront jouer. Pour Morphing, de 20h00 à 8h00 du matin, une série de micros-événements se succèderont autour du dispositif jusqu’à infiltrer l’espace même de Kanal. Entre déplacements, activations et soudains silences, peut-être s’agit-il non pas tant d’exposer à la vue que de suggérer l’image manquante; celle non pas advenue, non pas à venir, mais à sans cesse réinventer dans la nuit."
